Every account is tied to a verified email. Hosts complete additional identity and payout verification before they can receive bookings.
Secure payments
All payments are processed through our PCI-compliant payments partner. We never ask you to pay off-platform — if someone does, please report it to help@sharedstay.co.
Messaging stays on the platform
Keeping conversations in SharedStay means we can help if something goes wrong — and it protects everyone from scams that rely on private channels.
House rules and reviews
Hosts publish clear house rules up front. Guests and hosts review each other after every stay, so the community stays accountable.
Report a concern
Safety always comes first. Email help@sharedstay.co with the subject “Safety” and a real person will respond, day or night. If you're in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first (000 in Australia).
