Full refund of the room and any optional services, returned to your original payment method.
48 hours or less before check-in
No refund
The booking is non-refundable so hosts can plan their week with certainty.
If a host cancels
Guests always receive a full refund of the room and every optional service — no exceptions. We'll also help you find another stay where we can.
Optional services
If a host can't deliver a specific optional service you paid for (for example, an airport pickup or breakfast), that service is refunded individually. The accommodation booking is not affected.
Why one policy
SharedStay doesn't offer host-specific cancellation rules or tiered policies. One platform-wide rule means guests always know where they stand, and hosts never have to negotiate.
