Host Agreement
The terms that apply when you list a room on SharedStay.
This Host Agreement applies in addition to the SharedStay Terms & Conditions when you list accommodation on the platform.
1. Your listing
You confirm that you have the legal right to host at the property and that your listing is accurate, including photos, pricing, availability, and house rules.
2. Pricing and fees
You set your nightly rate. SharedStay charges a host service fee on confirmed bookings — disclosed in your host dashboard before you accept a reservation.
3. Payouts
Payouts are released after guest check-in via our payments partner, typically within 1–3 business days, to the account you have connected and verified.
4. Cancellations
Host-initiated cancellations always result in a full guest refund. Repeat host cancellations may affect your account standing.
5. Compliance
You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws including local short-stay regulations, owners-corporation or strata rules, tax obligations, and safety standards (working smoke alarms, safe egress, etc.).
6. Conduct
Hosts must respond to messages and booking requests within 24 hours and treat all guests with respect. Discrimination on the basis of any protected attribute is not permitted.
7. Termination
Either party may end this agreement at any time. SharedStay may remove listings or suspend accounts that breach this agreement or our Terms.
